Cub Scout Pack 1417, located in Marietta GA, is a family pack open to boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th Grade.  Scouting is designed to be a fun experience for the whole family!  Pack Meetings happen once a month on the 2nd Tuesday of the month, and are typically held at Davis Elementary or Mountain View Church.  It is a chance for the entire pack to gather together, learn more about what is happening in the pack, and have some fun as a bigger group.  These meetings are important for parents, scouts, and leaders to be able to connect and learn about upcoming events.

Den Meetings are the core of the scouting experience.  Dens usually meet about once a month to work through the specific rank advancement activities.  This is where your scout builds the tightest bonds with their peers.  Parents, scouts, and even siblings can join in the fun and participate in a variety of scouting activities.  Den Meeting times and locations are established by the respective leaders and parents.

We also organize several Pack Adventures and other activities throughout the year, including over the summer.  School-year activities include: Water Wars, Fall Family Camping (Spooky-Ree), Pinewood Derby, Winter Overnight (Indoor camping), Spring Family Camping, Archery Adventure, Day Trips (museum programs, zoo, etc.), Blue & Gold Party, Davis Clean-up, End of Year Party, and Pack Graduation.  Our summer activities typically include: Memorial Day Flag Placement, Bicycle Rodeo, Cub Scout Day Camp, and Tubing/Shoot The Hooch.
